Meet Jesse Wilkinson: Founder & Coach

I founded BIGFeels NYC to help children develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive. With an M.A. in Psychology and over 15 years of experience in child and family mental health as an educator, researcher, and clinician, I've seen firsthand how the right support can transform a child's confidence, relationships, and ability to navigate challenges.
My approach is rooted in meeting each child where they are and building on their unique strengths. Whether your child is working through big emotions, developing friendships, or building self-control, I create a safe, playful environment where they can practice real-world skills at their own pace.
I work with families across NYC—in-person and virtually—and I'd love to learn more about how I can support your child's growth.

SEL Coaching is for Every Child
Kids practice piano, sports, and reading. It’s time they practice social and emotional skills, too. They’re not behind—they’re learning skills that grow with experience. Social and emotional skills—and the resilience they build—develop over time through guidance, practice, and support.
While we address challenges that may be familiar to those with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and other neuro-developmental differences, we focus on building the skills that are most meaningful to each individual child—regardless of their starting point.
